What you’ll do
You’ll continue to define the execution of the Elsewhen brand and ensure that all outward communication is on-brand, and designed to an exceptional standard. You will also collaborate with our expert teams to provide creative direction on digital products, platforms and prototypes across our most critical client projects. The Brand & Product Designer will support on pitches and new business activities, in close collaboration with the Design, Marketing and Sales teams.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced manager who brings a strong mix of visual craft, marketing and business expertise to the position. This role demands a combination of leadership skills and a passion for solving complex challenges. Key Responsibilities:
- Creating visual rules and consistency in the way we display and talk about our work; helping to bring our services to life for clients across all touch-points.
- Take pride in helping to define the existing Elsewhen brand touchpoints and their future development; establishing the rules around our existing brand and continuing to evolve how we communicate who we are and what we value to our clients and peers.
- Design high-quality marketing content like white papers, case studies, event collateral, proposal decks, pitch processes, and presentations to potential clients and other high-quality assets to help us achieve our growth goals, and continue to put the Elsewhen brand on the map.
- Lead Design Initiatives on client projects: Take charge of the design process for critical greenfield projects, collaborating with our Product Designers on the end-to-end visual design strategy and delivery.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product designers, project managers, and developers, to ensure seamless collaboration and the successful execution of design projects.
- Customer-Centric Design: Utilize your skills to address real customer and stakeholder problems, creating visually stunning and user-centric designs.
- Manage multiple projects and communication with multiple stakeholders - all with different timelines and expectations
- Agile Methodology: Embrace and champion lean and agile methodologies, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in design processes.
- Have the ability to translate complex and abstract concepts into visuals that are beautiful, easy to comprehend, on-brief, and to the point
- Take pride in maintaining oversight over all assets that leave the door, making sure they reflect Elsewhen's high standards
Job requirements:
- 8+ years experience in an agency/consultancy environment
- Experience in the creation of digital brands, campaigns, pitch decks, sales and marketing collateral, which you can share and explain your process and approach
- A razor-sharp attention to detail, on top of your exceptional typographic and layout skills
- A cerebral approach to responding to briefs - you're able to think deeply and lead on ideas - exceeding expectations, rather than simply executing
- Experience creating elegant data visualization, infographics or similar
- Can share examples of your ability to multitask, and quickly context-switch between different projects and priorities
- You think Digital-first; creating high-fi interactive prototypes, an expert in Figma, Figjam, Framer, Adobe CS etc.
- A demonstrable ability to absorb, reflect and build on different brands and design aesthetics
